Soft Tissue & Massage Therapy

A person-centred approach to the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of minor and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and pain.

Soft Tissue treatment can involve a combination of manual therapy exercise, movement, habit changes and education. As with all our treatment, this is tailored to the individual’s specific needs.

It is important we take the time to understand as much as possible about how things started so we can work together to come up with the best way to help you improve with a variety of approaches to suit you.

Massage therapy is a safe, effective and ethical treatment of the body's soft tissue. As a great way to feel relaxed and calm the body down, you do not need a reason for a massage, it just feels great.

Sports/Deep Tissue Massage

Lots of us are getting more involved in sport and exercise particularly running, cycling and triathlons. Some of us play team sports, some hit the weights and increasingly exploring high intensity training such as military fitness and CrossFit. And all to the good it is too.

We can, as a result though, experience soreness, stiffness, aches, sprains and strains that need time to recover.

Sports massage can help to calm things down, reduce pain and assist with getting you back on track.

Remedial Massage

Massage can really help bring some relief to painful conditions and give a feeling of flexibility and ease. Massage can assist with injury rehabilitation by helping to calm the body and reduce sensitivity.

Massage has been shown to have positive effects for people suffering with stress, depression and anxiety.

By creating a calming and relaxing experience, remedial massage can help to ease the body and mind.

A combination of massage and rehabilitation such as movement, mobilisations and strengthening is often as the best way to help with many conditions.
